Ingredients
- 1 Cup Rolled Oats
- 1 Japanese (Asian) Pear
- 1/4 Cup Walnuts
- 2 Tablespoons Ground Flax
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- Pinch Salt
- Maple Syrup, if desired
Instructions
- Cook the oats as directed on the package.
- Meanwhile slice the pear into thin strips.
- When the oatmeal is cooked turn off the heat and stir in the flaxseeds, cinnamon, and salt.
- Divide into bowls and top with the sliced pear and walnuts. Drizzle with maple syrup (optional). Enjoy!
