Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 Japanese (Asian) Pear
  • 1/4 Cup Walnuts
  • 2 Tablespoons Ground Flax
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • Pinch Salt
  • Maple Syrup, if desired

Instructions

  1. Cook the oats as directed on the package.
  2. Meanwhile slice the pear into thin strips.
  3. When the oatmeal is cooked turn off the heat and stir in the flaxseeds, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Divide into bowls and top with the sliced pear and walnuts. Drizzle with maple syrup (optional). Enjoy!
