Ingredients
- 2 Pounds (1 Large) Jicama
- 2 Tablespoons Water
- 1/2 Teaspoon Liquid Smoke
- 1 Tablespoon Smoked Paprika
- 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F or the oven to 425°F. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. If oven baking, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Peel and slice the jicama into fry-sized strips.
- Boil the jicama for 10 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.
- Transfer the jicama to a large bowl and toss with the spices.
- Transfer to the air fryer or prepared baking sheet. Air fry for 15-20 minutes or bake for 20-30 minutes, until slightly golden and crisp. Enjoy!
