Ingredients
- 4 Apples
- 1/3 Cup Chopped Pecans
- 1/3 Cup Currants
- 6 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
- 2 Tablespoons Nut Butter
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Cup Boiling Water
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer (or oven) to 350°F.
- Cut the top off of the apple. Use a knife to scoop out the core.
- In a small bowl mix the pecans, currants, maple syrup, nut butter, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Place the apples in the dish for your air fryer (or baking dish for the oven). Spoon the mixture into the crevice of each apple. Pour the boiling water into the bottom of the dish.
- Bake for 15 minutes OR 20-25 minutes in the oven. Serve and enjoy!
