Ingredients

  • 1 14oz Block Extra Firm Tofu, drained
  • 3 Tablespoons Liquid Aminos, Tamari, or Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • 1 Teaspoon Liquid Smoke

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the tofu into rectangles. (I sliced mine into four "sheets" horizontally, and then into six rectangles per "sheet" - see photo in post)
  3. In a small bowl mix the liquid aminos, maple syrup, and liquid smoke.
  4. Place tofu in a shallow casserole dish and pour the marinade over the squares. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes, up to overnight.
  5. Arrange the tofu in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake 30-40 minutes, until browned and crisp. Serve and enjoy!
