Nothing screams fall like caramel apples. Caramel apples are a classic fall treat that remind me of crisp autumn air and pumpkin picking.
I always want September to feel like fall. Everyone starts drinking pumpkin spice lattes, but in most of the country it's still sweltering outside!
There's no way I'm going to bake a ton of treats when it's still hot out.
These Caramel Apple Energy Bites bring fall to life without the oven. They are no-bake and take approximately 10 minutes to make. AND they have all the fall flavor.
The bites are also super healthy. Fruits are the main ingredients, along with a few other plant-based foods that come together for a quick burst of energy, with enough fiber to keep the sugar-high away.
As with all plant-based foods, these bites come with TONS of nutrients. First, fiber, which is hands-down the best nutrient you can consume. Fiber regulates your digestion and can helps you maintain a healthy weight. Learn more here!
These bites also have tons of potassium, manganese, and Omega-3s. It's like eating a nutritional powerhouse!
Let's go through the ingredients.
The best part of these bites is how easy they are. There's only a few steps!
Step 1. Add all the ingredients to a food processor. Process until the mixture sticks together.
Step 2. Scoop out a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball. It will help A TON to wet your hands before you do this. That way the mixture will stick to itself and not your hands.
Step 3. Place each ball on a parchment-lined tray. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
Step 4. If the bites are a little loose, put them in the fridge for a few minutes to firm them up. If not, enjoy right away!
Step 5. Keep in the fridge and enjoy whenever you need a bite of energy!
