Maple Balsamic Brussels Sprouts are an easy and flavorful side dish for a holiday dinner or weeknight meal. Tossed with vegan bacon, these sprouts are sweet, savory, salty and downright addictive.
I know that brussels sprouts aren't everyone's favorite food. But you know what is everyone's favorite food? Bacon.
So, add some bacon to your sprouts and you'll be eating your vegetables like they're candy.
In all seriousness.. if you hate brussels sprouts, try this recipe. It's got sweet and salty flavors. And it doesn't turn the brussels sprouts into a bunch of mush.
Plus, there really is (vegan) bacon. Which makes everything better.
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2. In a large bowl toss the sprouts, balsamic, maple syrup, garlic, salt and pepper.
Step 3. Spread onto the baking sheet and cook for 25-30 minutes.
Step 4. Toss with the coconut bacon. Serve and enjoy!
Thank you God for vegetables that give our bodies nutrients. Thank you for healthy foods that we can enjoy. Amen.
