Litany for Food Freedom

From the fear of being judged for what I’m eating, deliver me Jesus.
From the fear of being judged for what I’m not eating, deliver me Jesus.
From the anxiety of eating in public, deliver me Jesus.
From the fear of eating alone, deliver me Jesus.
From the belief that my worth is in my weight, deliver me Jesus.
From the belief that I am too skinny, deliver me Jesus.
From the belief that I am too fat, deliver me Jesus.
From the belief that I need to exercise more to please You, deliver me Jesus.
From the belief that I need to exercise less to please You, deliver me Jesus.
From the desire for my body to be perfect, deliver me Jesus.
From the belief that my body is broken, deliver me Jesus.
From the belief that my diet is not important, deliver me Jesus.
From the belief that my diet is more important than my relationship with You, deliver me Jesus.

That I may honor You with my body, Jesus grant me the grace to live in freedom.
That I may choose foods that nourish my body and soul, Jesus grant me the grace to live in freedom.
That I may love the body that You gave me, Jesus grant me the grace to live in freedom.
That I may choose to eat when I’m hungry and stop when I’m full, Jesus grant me the grace to live in freedom.
That I may learn to treat my body like a temple of the Holy Spirit, Jesus grant me the grace to live in freedom.
That I may enjoy eating food without anxiety, Jesus grant me the grace to live in freedom.
That food may bring me closer to my family and friends, Jesus grant me the grace to live in freedom.
That I may let go of unhealthy attachments to food, Jesus grant me the grace to live in freedom.
That I may honor Your body as the most important thing I consume, Jesus grant me the grace to live in freedom.
