Jazz up your bananas with this super easy air fryer bananas recipe. It's just four ingredients and takes less than 15 minutes from start to finish. Perfect for a quick breakfast or healthy dessert!
If you've been following this blog for any amount of time, you know I LOVE bananas. And if not, hi, hello, I'm Elizabeth and I LOVE bananas.
I eat them almost every day for dessert. Usually I eat them frozen or as nice cream. But sometimes you gotta switch it up, ya know?
So I present: Air Fryer Bananas.
This is how you elevate a banana into a dessert-worthy dish. Or breakfast. You could definitely eat these for breakfast too. Honestly, I'm in favor of eating bananas at any time of the day.
Step 1. Preheat the air fryer or oven to 350°F.
Step 2. Peel the bananas and cut lengthwise.
Step 3. Place the bananas on the tray for your air fryer or baking sheet if using the oven.
Step 4. Drizzle evenly with the maple syrup and sprinkle with the cinnamon and nutmeg.
Step 5. Cook 7-10 minutes, until the bananas have a light golden color.
Step 6. Serve warm. Top with walnuts, fresh berries, and a drizzle of maple syrup. Enjoy!
You can definitely still make these bananas if you don't have an air fryer.
Follow the same instructions, but cook the bananas a few minutes longer, until they are golden.
Thank you God for these bananas. We are grateful for this healthy dessert or breakfast option. Amen.
