Make your own oat flour at home. Homemade oat flour is quick, easy, and significantly cheaper than store-bought flour.
I use oat flour all the time in my baking. It is so versatile and less processed than regular white flour.
It's also super easy to make at home, so you can whip some up anytime for significantly cheaper than buying store-bought.
Step 1. Blend the oats in your food processor for 3-5 minutes, until finely ground.
For some recipes a coarser grind is fine and you'll only need to blend for a minute or two. For other recipes, you'll want a finer grind, so be sure to blend thoroughly.
