This Tropical Orange Smoothie Bowl is a colorful way to enjoy summer fruits. Made mostly of fruit, it's incredibly thick and spoonable.
If I had to pick a favorite food color the yellow-orange family would be my first choice.
There are so many of my favorite foods in those colors: sweet potatoes, bananas, carrots, oats, and more! I could probably eat only yellow-orange foods for the rest of my life and be perfectly content.
That said, I don't advise that. There is great benefit in eating a variety of whole plant foods. And it's a great idea to try to eat all colors of the rainbow.
For example, I probably have a dip in every single color...
Bottom line: it's SO fun and SO good for you to eat all the colors. You'll get a variety of antioxidants and nutrients which will help your body function optimally.
We're not talking about dips today though. We're talking smoothies!
This Tropical Orange Smoothie Bowl makes me think of the beach. I love all the fruity flavors in this bowl. Plus, if you top the bowl with coconut like I did, it adds even more tropical vibes.
All you need to make this bowl are a few simple ingredients. It's mostly fruit with just a couple other things added in for optimal flavor and a perfect texture.
Smoothies are pretty simple! Start by adding all the ingredients to a food processor. Blend them until they are completely smooth. If you want a drinkable smoothie, add additional milk to thin.
Pour into a bowl and top with desired toppings such as chia seeds, shredded coconut, carrots, or fruit. Enjoy!
Praise Jesus for bright foods that are beautiful, delicious, and healthy. Amen.
